I came to Dr. Austin after suffering with a chronic illness and brain injury for nearly 2 years. I was afraid to be hopeful because I had already tried many things to heal and was struggling to make further progress. Dr. Austin has several ways of objectively testing brain function and I was relieved to get confirmation of what I already new to be true - my brain function was impaired! The first month was challenging for me, but I was faithful to come to appointments and do my at-home exercises. It has now been 2 months and I have progressed so much in such a short time! We've been going to Dr. Austin for ~25 years. Dr. Austin is an intuitive and caring provider who listens to what we're asking for. Just and adjustment today? Fine. Something more wholistic? Dr. Austin pretty much saved my life. I was very dizzy from the moment I woke up until the moment a went to sleep every day this year. The feeling would never go away. I had very low quality of life, could barely drive and was on the verge of losing my job because I could no longer perform my required basic daily tasks. Kaiser was NO HELP!!! the doctors kept basically telling me "I don't know what's wrong with you" and sent me to specialist (and crazy high copays) after specialist. Is there such a thing as a perfect person? Maybe not, but Dr. Austin sure does come close. He has seen me as a young athlete, a recovering athlete, and most recently the victim of a car crash requiring TBI (brain trauma) as well as physical recovery. He and his team have given my life a 180 through COMPLETE care. One visit with Dr. Austin and you will question everything you've ever been told about medicine. I started working with doctor Austin in 1998 after a very thorough recommendation by Gail Denton who wrote the book "Brainlash".( btw: If you or someone you know has a traumatic brain injury- buy that book). Through several car accidents and multiple athletic injuries and life stresses; Doctor Austin thoroughly worked with me to start connecting my right left brain hemispheres, get my nervous system calmed down or turned back on., get my b as lance back, my movement back while being honest and really funny. When I moved away I saw a few other chiroppractors with some very cutting edge technology and each time would have a severe headache or feel if somehow.. I'm not saying other chiropractors aren't good at all, though I am saying I trust doctor Austin more. After 26 years of seeing him as a chiropractor, I love this guy - he keeps and he really knows what hes doing with functional medicine and chiropractor care. I highly recommend him!

I have never believed in chiropractors. My best friend, a long distance runner, swore by his. After an injury at home (wrenched my neck and back badly), I saw my primary care doctor. He said I may have shingles and my accident caused it to materialize. After a week of meds, the radiating pain around my chest continued. On my follow up visit, he actually recommended Austin Chiropractic Center. I told Dr Austin of my skepticism and my issue. He showed me a book that illustrated my pain exactly, showed me simple examples of how neurological stimulus effects strength and did an adjustment on me.
